Our Story

Welcome to a new language of Indian occasionwear Vashisht Guru Dutt blends nostalgia, North Indian craftsmanship, and heritage textiles to create pieces made to be worn and loved for years.

Vashisht Guru Dutt is an Indian ethnic wear house born in Delhi, dedicated to the revival of India's intricate crafts. Founded by Vashisht Guru Dutt in the dual role of designer and maker, the brand grew out of a profound love for Indian craftsmanship, traditional textiles, and community harmony. After graduating from NIFT Delhi in 2016, he honed his craft alongside two of India's most celebrated design labels — Anju Modi and House of Kotwara — before shaping a voice entirely his own.

From the heart of Delhi, Vashisht Guru Dutt transforms ancestral crafts into contemporary heirlooms, where every thread tells a story of heritage, culture, and devotion to beauty.

Specializing in Indian pret occasionwear for women, the brand artfully blends modest, elegant silhouettes with rich color and culture. Drawing from nature, culture, and human emotion, teach collection echoes themes of love, acceptance, and celebration within India's diverse community. Every piece is a dialogue between tradition and innovation, empowering local artisans and inviting the wearer to embrace clothing as a form of personal storytelling.

"In the quiet embrace of creation, beauty unfolds with each deliberate touch each design born not just of hands, but of the heart."
